Published by the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, Theory and Science in Art Practice - Artistic Research Reader, collects the Hungarian translations of important historical and contemporary sources and texts written by theorists and artists on artistic research. The volume, which contains more than 20 texts, also includes the most important European Union directives and declarations related to Artistic Research.

The book was awarded the 2023 Hungarian Book Design Award in the category of Non-fiction.

EU4Art_differences is an education and research project of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Dresden, the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma and the Latvijas Mākslas Akadēmija Riga, which was implemented between 2020-23. The project's main objective was to explore the forms and possibilities of artistic research in the context of higher art education institutions.
